FAQ’S AND OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. Teams must register with their home club/association and have their club or association registrar activate their team before they can register for the WD S2 gaming league or Qualifying Tournament. The District does NOT register players or teams with STYSA - we only accept application into our gaming league.
2. Payments need to be made through the Affinity system via credit card or e-check. If different arrangements need to be made, please notify the Western District VP as soon as possible (club check for multiple teams or money order payments).
3. All Fall season Super 2 games for Western District will be played on a home/home basis. Teams will be responsible for the scheduling of their home games at their home fields. Teams will be responsible for all referee and field usage costs associated with this. There are NO neutral or central site games - unless 2 teams agree to such PRIOR to the publication of the schedule. If two teams agree to neutral or central site a game, the teams are responsible for any field and referee fees associated with this.
4. There will be a playoff weekend prior to the State tournament to determine who advances to the Super 2 Fall Championship games. The total number of teams advancing to the playoff’s from Western District will be published no later than October 1, 2010.
5. Fall season play will begin September 11th.
6. To remain pre-qualified a team must maintain a "majority" of their Spring 2010 final roster. This is different than the "50% plus 1" rule. If a team is unable to maintain a "majority" from the Spring, they are considered a "new team" and must register for the qualifying tournament.
7. There are NO Guest Players at the Qualifying Tournament. Teams applying for the qualifying tournament and qualifying for Super 2 play through the qualifying tournament, will be required to maintain their roster from the Qualifying Tournament to the Fall Season final roster deadline.
